Real Estate Pre-Licensing (Fundamentals Part 1) 37.5 HoursCourse Descriptions:In order to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia an individual must apply for the Georgia license. Prior to applying you must complete 75 hours of instruction in a course approved by the Georgia real estate commission prior to sitting for the license examination. This class will accomplish one half of that requirement. It is 37.5 hours designed with the use of technology, required reading assignments, and several in-class and take-home tests for complete understanding of the subject matter. The subjects covered include general overview of real estate, ownership, encumbrances, agency, contracts, appraisal, finances, transfer and how it all relates in Georgia Law, includes a mid-term and final examination. MATERIALS INCLUDED: textbooks, reading assignment and testing assignment forms.
Real Estate Pre-Licensing (Practical Part 2) 37.5
Course Description: In order to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia the applicant must apply for the Georgia license and complete 75 hours of instructions in a course approved by the Georgia real estate commission prior to sitting for the license examination. This class is an additional 37.5 hours of instructions designed for those desiring to be licensed in the real estate profession. Using technology, required reading assignments, and several in-class and take-home test. This course covers the practical side of subjects such as agency, values, financial, sellers and buyers. It will also include a review of contracts in step-by-step reading and explanation for listings, purchase and sales as well as leases. The Georgia laws and rules will also be reviewed. There is a mid-term and final examination to complete.Post Licensing 3 Hours CE: This course will address topics for national and local venues relating to real estate laws and rules. Class participants will revisit the topics of their licensing course and reinforce their understanding of the topics. There is a required post examination.Class opens with an oral review through pre test activity of 20 questions. There will be a 15 minute period to see what class participants remember about each topic. The discussions will be based on pre-test answers. However, all subjects will be discussed completely by the instructor through presentations. Each session is taught through technological use of power point presentations and group interactions (opening activities).
